The Nazis Persecution of Jehovah's Witnesses
A few years ago there was a book about the Holocaust in
which Jewish survivors claimed that Jehovah's Witnesses
in the camp were no different than any other camp inmate. The Watchtower's version of events
The Watchtower always claimed the severity of the per-
secution of their own in many of the Watchtower and
Awake magazines. It talked about the horrible
tragedies that befell Jehovah's Witnesses.Reading a different version on the internet
There was a web site on the internet in which a Watch-
Tower higher up was actually giving the Nazi's the
personal and private information of Jehovah's
Witnesses in order to round them up for deportation. Can anyone provide some insight into this?
What really happened during the time of the second
world war? Did the Society inflate the numbers of
those who were killed in the camps?Does anyone recall the name of the individual
responsible for selling out these brothers? Please provide any information or insight
into this topic so that others may learn.Respectfully,

How the Saved View the Fallen
Recalling an incident that happened some
years ago led me to this topic of discussion. It has probably happened to others and that
is why I have chosen to write about it.When I was studying with a "Shepard of the Flock"
This was one of those "signals" which those of us who were one
of Jehovah's Witnesses encountered, but for one reason or another
tended to suppress, avoid, make excuses for, or remained in denial
because of it.
When I was first studying with Jehovah's Witnesses I went out in
field service with this "elder", who on passing this brothers house
made critical remarks about him.No longer attending meetings
You see this brother was no longer attending meetings. Now he
was not an "apostate" nor "disfellowshiped" or "disassociated" he
simply was a fader in the organization.
When we went passed this brother's home, all the "elder" could do
was bad mouth the brother and criticize him because he was not
attending meetings.
My thoughts were "Why don't you try and befriend the brother
instead of berate him"? You never know he just might come around. What attitudes have you encountered with the saved ones?
- When you were one of Jehovah's Witnesses what attitude did individuals
have regarding a "lost sheep"? Were they sympathetic?
Were you sympathetic? - Did individuals tend to criticize the individual or
did they feel sorry for the person that was now gone?
Please provide your input by posting your comments so that all can learn.

Your first step was the right step
in coming to this board. You will
find individuals such as yourself
in a similar situation.
There are a number of people here
who can relate to your exact circum-
stances, so don't give up.
Sometimes we get down but there
are a number of us here who will
lift you up.

Issuing a Statement to the Discussion Board
Since becoming a member of this discussion board it
is important for me to come clean as it were. Although,
the topics that are written by me are varied, from contro-
verstial to antagonistic and everything in between, there
is a motivating reason for such topics. Why do you write the articles that you do?
SImply, to inspire good conversations, provoke certain
feelings of animosity, and to get a general feel for the
audiences outlook on certain matters. You have made enemies with some here
Truthfully, if that is the case let me begin by apologizing
to those who I have truly offended. Sometimes, it takes
a little flame to get a fire roaring. The over all good of the discussions
What I hope is taken into account is the over all
good of the discussions. Quite a number of in-
dividuals have given me compliments concerning
the topics of discussion and I would like to thank
those who have done so. In addition, we have
learned allot from each other through the topicsMy personal feelings
As a group we laugh, we cry, we get angry and we
agree or disagree; but I have felt closer to some
individuals on this discussion board in less then
2 months than I have in 14 years in the organization.Peace,

Do you feel that the "Rapture" is close now that you are a christian?
by booker-t infor all ex-jw's that are now born-again christians.
do you now believe that the "rapture" is close?
have you traded one lie "armaggeddon is around the corner" that jw's insist on to jump ship and believing another "lie" by born-agains that the "rapture is very close".

The wanderer
The word rapture is not even mentioned
in the Bible. Case closed.

Campfire Ghost Stories and Jehovah's Witnesses
Being in the organization there were always stories, rumors, and gossip
that ran rampant throughout the congregations. From time to time you
would hear about the ghost stories of what happened to so and so.The Ghost Stories in the Organization
One of the more popular ones that circulated in the 1980s was a
father entering his daughter's bedroom and he noticed that the
daughter's smurfs (magical toy creatures) were dancing on her
bed.Another story that was related to me, were that these two sisters
were out in service and they were talking to the householder,
who also happened to be a woman, and as the sister was talk-
ing to this woman she started to levitate. What stories have you Heard?
Admittedly, stories get twisted and turned every time they
are related. However, just out of curiosity how many of
these stories did you hear when you were in the organ-
ization? Please expand upon this discussion out of curiosity
and confirmation of these stories.Respectfully,
The Wanderer
